Autumn In Budapest

Hello there lovelies! I have just spent the most lovely week in the gorgeous city of Budapest, Hungary and I have so much to talk about! Next week I will talk you through the best places to visit and eat in the city but today I'm going to give you a little peek at what I wore throughout my trip! Autumn is my favourite season as you all know so I have loads of amazing pieces I can't wait to show you.

I won't bore you with what I wore for travelling as it was just your standard jumper and jeans combo to keep me nice and toasty on the plane. But I will tell you about the first evening! We went out for a lovely meal at a cute little Italian restaurant right next to where we were staying and I wore my beloved Topshop jeans, a lovely striped top (with of course a touch of sparkle) and my fab leopard print coat. This coat is so fun and really makes the outfit. I paired it with my trusty red heels (very easy to walk in!), my red bag and that was the look finished. I like this look because as it was the first night, we weren't going anywhere fancy but the shoes just give the whole outfit a lift so I didn't look too casual.

On our first day in Budapest we decided to have a boat trip along the River Danube. It was a pretty warm day so I chose to wear a graphic tee and a skirt. The colours in this outfit are just so autumnal especially when I wear it with my cosy leopard print coat over it to keep me warm. I also wore some burgundy boots to match my skirt creating the most perfect autumnal outfit.

On the next day it was expected to rain so I went for a practical cosy jumper and some black jeans. Whilst looking cool I was also nice and toasty(and dry) for the entire day. I wore my white trainers as we were going to be doing los of walking round the Castle District that day. I honestly love this jumper, for many reasons. One being that it is mustard and another that it has the best bell sleeves that add so much to a simple jumper and jeans look. Of course I wore my leopard print coat (sorry, not sorry) and brought an umbrella to keep my nice and dry as it is most definitely not waterproof! I dressed this up in the evening by adding a pair of black tassel earrings which worked perfectly.

The next day, it was pouring with rain so of course we decided to spend the whole day at the gorgeous Gellert Baths. Even though I would be in my bikini for most of the day, I still dressed very stylishly. I chose to wear my dogtooth trousers I thrifted and layered with a turtle neck and a jumper. (Layering is my favourite part of Autumn styling!) To add more layers, I popped denim jacket on top.

On the last day, we visited the Jewish Quarter of Budapest. I wore a super cool striped top and my favourite skirt (mustard, yet again!) and wore my very trusty black leather boots. I loved the colours in this outfit and felt very confident when I walked around.

As it was the last evening I dressed up a bit more fancy than the rest of the evenings to go out for dinner. I wore an absolutely gorgeous velvet wrap dress. The rose pattern and pinky tones of this dress are so lovely and I can' get enough of it. I paired it with my black boots and tights. I chose to go low key with the accessories as the dress really does all the talking for itself.
