Inspirational Babes

Hey, hey everyone! So I thought I would start my blog off with a fun lil post featuring all the blogger babes and Insta gals I have been loving and getting inspo from lately. As I mentioned before, I've loved reading blogs for the longest time and there is not a moment when I am not crazily refreshing Instagram for more wonderfully inspirational photos from the people I love.

I just had to start with Megan Ellaby - aka my ultimate go-to for inspiration. Pages by Megan was the first blog I came across that I felt I totally connected with. The witty writing of Megan sparked my love for all things fashion and deepened my need to find more bloggers. I simply adore the way she uses colour and pattern to create the most fun and inspiring looks. She loves a good clash of colour and goes a little cray-cray when it comes to footwear. Megan started her YouTube channel a couple of years ago and posts twice a week with no fail. With regular updates from everywhere, I am all the more under her spell of fun and creativity.

The next girl I had to mention is someone new to the model world; Florence Broomfield. Her Instagram @florencexrose was recommended to me by a friend and now I can't get enough of her inventive style and talented makeup looks. She goes all out when it comes to eye makeup and I wish I had the confidence to pull off such daring looks (I have no talent in makeup, no matter how hard I try!). Florence loves vintage clothes and often what you see her wearing cannot be found anywhere else - this gives her individuality, which I love.

  

Another blogger I have been into lately is Lizzy Hadfield. Her blog Shot From the Street has had countless views and she has over 34K followers on Instagram. Lizzy's newly made YouTube channel is filled to the brim with authentic and original ideas all based around fashion. I love how Lizzy's style is minimalist yet she still manages to look interesting with pops of colour here and there. Lizzy loves a good pair of jeans and cannot stop buying loafers (especially Gucci!). She gives me extreme shoe envy! When visiting Lizzy's blog, expect a chic and minimal aesthetic and monochrome galore.

I discovered Alexa Mareka after I saw her featured in one of Lazy Oaf's Instagram posts. Since then I check out her Instagram @alexamareka on the daily and saving almost every single post of hers. Alexa is also a young model and has a unique fashion look. She loves to go for the 'little boy' look by wearing striped and graphic tees. Her style is sporty with a retro twist.  I also adore how you never see her in a boring pair of jeans, instead she wears alternatives like patterned and garishly coloured trousers and skirts, as you can see in the photos below.

My favourite thing about all these amazing girls is that they aren't afraid to wear what they want, no matter what anyone else thinks. I aspire to have their confidence and to go all out there in the fashion world.
