Summer Wishlist

Hello everyone! From my last post, featuring all those lovely, stylish girls, you may guess that I am constantly adding items to my Wish list. My wish list is as long as my arm, and filled with casual, basic items to your more extravagant pieces. I thought it was the perfect thing to do a blog post about!

This yellow shade is incredible!
A theme I could see in my last post was that a few of the photos I chose of the bloggers featured colourful blazers. Blazers are very 'Megan Ellaby' and she's never out of fashion. I feel that a blazer like this would add so much punch to any casual outfit. The first blazer is from ASOS and is called the Pimkie Tailored Blazer. It seems to sit perfectly just over the hips and from what is said in the 'product details' section it is made of pretty good material. Red is one of my obsessions right now so I desperately need this! I can't deny it, I'm obsessed with yellow too and what more could I want than this pale yellow Double Breasted Casual Suit Jacket from Zara? It just looks incredible and my gosh, doesn't the model look ridiculously cool?

This outfit is a dream.
Since finding a fantastic Burberry dress in a charity shop for £7(!!!), of which I am planning to do a blog post on very soon, I have been on the hunt for the perfect handbag to go with it. And I have finally found it! This is the French Connection Snake Effect Across Body Bag from ASOS. I simply love how the snake effect adds to this basic yellow over the shoulder handbag. The colour is just great too - not too florescent. I have so many gingham items and from the picture I can see that it will go so well with all of them. The size is good as well... You get the gist; I LOVE it!

Who says no to gingham?

Very soon I am going on a camping trip with my family in our old classic VW Campervan. And everyone knows what will deffo be needed on a trip like that, in Scotland no less; a very waterproof mac. Now, I don't want and old garish, ugly monstrosity. Hell no! I wouldn't be seen dead in one of those. Instead, I have been scouring the web for a more stylish version of the classic rain mac. I have managed to find two I really like. the first item pictured is the Daisy Street Rain Mac In Vinyl from ASOS. I adore how similar this is to the Alexa Chung one from her M&S collection (it's a whole lot cheaper too!) The glossiness really gives it an interesting look and the fact that it's black means there is no chance of it ruining a perfectly styled outfit. The other mac is from New Look; the Black Gingham Check Clear Anorak. And it is £12 reduced from £39.99, a fantastic bargain. I love this mac because even if it is pouring with rain you don't have to cover your style. The fact that it is black and has parts that are see-through also means it will go with anything.

Yellow and floral - the perfect combination
This gorgeous specimen is the Yellow Floral Spot Print V Neck Dress from New Look and it looks just like my kind of dress. I own an abundance of wrap style dresses and tops as I find the style particularly flattering on me, so what could be better? The print is so summery which is great for this moment but as we are nearing the end of summer, this will also be a great transitional item. I can just see the dress teamed with a leather jacket or black coat and my trusty black leather ankle boots for the perfect Autumn look. I love a piece I can wear all year round!

Slide View: 2: BDG Mom Sky Blue Corduroy Jeans
The fit is lovely.
Recently, I purchased a pair of jeans that are perfect in every way, and I cannot stop wearing them. So, I am trying to find alternatives to the classic light washed jeans we all have. I found corduroy trousers similar to these on Lizzy Hadfield (Shot from the Street)'s Instagram and thought they were just what I needed. They are the BDG Mom Sky Blue Corduroy Jeans from Urban Outfitters. Summer in Scotland is hardly summer. We get our (more than) fair share of cold and rain so these trousers would be great for now and I can also continue to wear them though out all the seasons. The colour gives them almost as much versatility as jeans have and the fabric will keep my legs nice and toasty on those 'stay indoors' days, for sure.

Gotta love some titty tutus!
Gingham Galore.
Now, it wouldn't be Spring/Summer 2017 with no mention of a gingham bikini, would it? I'm keeping up with the trend and will DEFINITLEY be one of these beauties. They are both from good old ASOS (yet again!) and are both equally as nice. You will probably see me getting the amazingly priced Playful Promises Mix and Match Gingham Ruffle Cupped Bikini which has been reduced by more that 50%. My favourite thing about this bikini is that it is blue rather than the black or red gingham you see everyone else wearing. The ruffles give it an individual touch too, and who doesn't love some ruffles here and there? The second bikini I love is the ASOS Mix and Match High Waist Bikini in Gingham. It is classic gingham and oh so flattering. oth the bikinis have high waists as I feel it tucks everything in and gives the illusion of a tiny waist.

WOW

I was scrolling through the shoe section of Zara (my life) and my heart stopped when I saw these. The Embroidered Satin High Heel Ankle Boots are the most beautiful pair of boots I have ever come across. I love the rich emerald green and the very oriental feel from the embroider work. The tight ankles and pointed toes will give length to my legs. These amazing boots would dress up even the plainest of paper bags!

I came across the brand For Love and Lemons on Instagram and my gosh, every item they have blows my mind. Their style is girly yet very sexy and inspired by enchanted gardens. A lot of their products feature stars that if you know me, you will know I adore. This dress (the Twinkle Midi Dress) is the perfect party dress - how great it would be for Christmas! As I mentioned with the dress from New Look, I think V-necks are extremely flattering and this only makes me want this dress even more.

Such a cute cami!
We are quickly approaching the Autumn and Winter months (how fast time flies) of which I am becoming more and more excited for as I see brands coming out with new products. The thing I am most excited for is layering outfits (I'm planning a blog post on layering for a few months time!) and I feel the Current Air Pinstripe Crop Cami Top from ASOS would be great for that purpose. ASOS has been mentioned a lot during this post but what can I say? Scrolling through ASOS is a hobby of mine. A white tee and a cami top is a classic combo I will forever love.

Well there you guys have it, a rather lengthy post about the items I am lusting over. Thanks for popping over and do come and say hey on my Twitter and Instagram.
