Summer Fashion Faves
Hello lovelies. Oh no! Summer is officially gone! (Not that we really had much of a summer in Scotland tbh.) But I am telling you, I am SO ready for Autumn. It is my all time favourite month of the year. Since summer has been and gone I thought I would share with you some of my favourite fashion bits and pieces from over the last few months.
The first fashion combo I have been loving is a classic 90s style camisole over a plain tee. Here I am wearing a white t-shirt from Asos and a lovely black cami top from Primark (no link here - Primark, what are you doing? Get with the times!) I love how the cami can be used to layer for autumn but then how it can be worn with nothing underneath for when it is a bit warmer and looks great when styled for evening do's.
My next favourite of last season has to be my striped espadrilles from Zara. I mean just look at them - they are the most perfect summer shoes I have ever seen. I love how the forever trend of nautical stripes can be incorporated into an outfit just by slipping these bad boys on.
You might have guessed it, but here in Scotland, we get our fair share of rain showers (or torrential rain more like), so a saviour for me this summer has got to be my Gingham Mac from New Look. I love this mac because even if it is pouring with rain you don't have to cover your style. The fact that it is black and has parts that are see-through also means it will go with anything.
Another favourite of the summer has to be my gingham skirt from Asos. We all know that gingham was pretty much the biggest trend of the summer so of course I had to mention this baby. I cant wait to use this as a transitional piece as I think it would look amazing with a mustard jumper I just added to my wardrobe.
Something I could not have lived without this summer are my beloved white converse. I mean, come on? What shoes are better for going on trips to the beach and camping trips? I particularly love how hey can be paired with pretty much anything and that they have the ability to dress down a more smart outfit when need be.
A final item I have been adoring lately are these lovely pair of red loafers. I found these in a charity shop for under £5, they fit me perfectly and I just couldn't leave them sitting on the shelf. Although the inside is a touch worn, the red leather is buttery soft and is in amazing condition. They work perfectly with light washed jeans so of course I love them!

Something I bought towards the end of the summer is my sunshine bag from Accessorize. Even though it's relatively new, it has already become a firm favourite of mine. I'm slightly obsessed with yellow (and red) at the moment so this gorgeous bag slips into my wardrobe beautifully.
Now we all know how much I have been loving my Burberry dress, so I'm sorry that I am raving about it once again, but I just HAD to put it in this post. I was wearing it constantly over the summer months as the yellow and white pattern screams summertime. This fabric is oh so breathable too so I couldn't leave this perfect dress out.

I can't believe summer is over! It gets quicker every year. So there you have it, my favourites from over the summer months. Thanks for popping over and do come and say hey on my Twitter and Instagram.
