Party Makeup
It's December, and we all know what that means; it's party season! It's the time of year when we all get dolled up to go party! So I thought I would show you my take on a festive makeup look. (Please note I am not the best at makeup!)
First off I always moisturise before I put anything on my face. Today I'm using Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream.
Next I prime my face with this bad boy - the Monuskin Illuminating Primer.
Next up is BB cream. Bourjois City Radiance is honestly so good and SO affordable.
Yes I know every blogger raves about this concealer but it doesn't get any better than Collection Lasting Perfection at that amazing price.
Now for contour, blush and highlight. The Nip+Fab palette is new to my collection and it is oh so good.
To apply my foundation, contour, blush and highlight I used my trusty Zoeva brush set (such a lovely rose gold colour!) I will be using these brushes for the rest of this look too.
This little NYX eyebrow kit is just perfect.
And of course it isn't Christmas without a dash of gold, so here it is; Barry M Dazzle Dust in shade Bronze Gold. So pigmented and amazing on the lids.
To add a touch of smokiness to this look I'm using Ciate Wonderwand Eyeliner and smudging it about a bit to create this smouldering look.
And of course I can't possibly live without mascara; Maybelline Lash Sensational.
And now, for the finishing touch; red lipstick (NYX Matte Lipstick in Perfect Red). As I've said before, Christmas just screams the colour red so obviously I had to add it into this look!
