Winter Wardrobe Essentials

Hello there! We all know every season has its must-have wardrobe items, and in winter, it’s all about being warm while remaining stylish. So for this Blogmas post, here are some must-have winter wardrobe essentials you definitely need for this time of year.

The Blazer
If there’s one item to add to your wardrobe this Autumn/Winter season, is an oversize blazer. Channel your inner 80’s power dresser and invest in a strong suit jacket for a great smart/casual piece. Wear it as a lightweight jacket for warmer days, or layer it over knitwear for the chillier January weather.

The Statement Coat
In winter your outerwear is the most important aspect of your wardrobe so why not make a statement? A statement coat will add a pop of colour to any neutral or all-black outfit. It will instantly look like you've tried hard, even if you just through it on in a panic!

Turtleneck Jumpers
This sort of goes without saying, but I can’t really write a winter wardrobe essentials post without including jumpers, can I??? Investing in a turtleneck top will ensure that your neck is nice and snug all winter long! This style looks good with anything whether it be paired under a crew neck jumper, a sleeveless dress, or simply worn on its own with jeans or an A-line skirt for a very classic 60s look.

Leather Jacket
A leather jacket is crucial for every winter wardrobe and adds instant edge and coolness to any outfit. Toss it over your jeans and tee on the weekend or a snazzy dress for the evening. This jacket has the power to transform any winter outfit from drab to fab!

Baker Boy Cap
A baker boy cap (also known as newsboy, or fishermen hat) finishes off a look in a way that no other accessory can. It is so confident and on-trend. And now that A/W 17 is finally here, it's time to start taking advantage of the colder weather. Another super big plus to this accessory is it is perfect for bad hair days. Just chuck it on and you’re done!
