My Fave Insta Babes

Hey, hey everyone! I have been getting so much fashion inspiration on Instgram lately. I swear I can't get away from these amazing, trendy Instgram models! So I thought I would share a fun lil post featuring all the Insta gals I have been loving and getting inspo from lately. As I mentioned before, I've loved reading blogs for the longest time and since I got an Instagram account 5 or 6 years ago, there is not a moment when I am not crazily refreshing Instagram for more wonderfully inspirational photos from the people I love.

I just had to start with Megan Ellaby (@meganellaby) - aka my ultimate go-to for inspiration. Meganellaby.com was the first blog I came across that I felt I totally connected with, and her Instagram page is just as good, with the added extra looks, and pictures of her sausage dogs. The witty writing of Megan sparked my love for all things fashion and deepened my need to find more bloggers. I simply adore the way she uses colour and pattern to create the most fun and inspiring looks. She loves a good clash of colour and goes a little cray-cray when it comes to footwear. Megan started her YouTube channel a couple of years ago and posts twice a week with no fail. With regular updates from instagram, I am all the more under her spell of fun and creativity.

Someone who I only recently came across, due to a fab recommendation from my sister, and who I am now obsessed with, is Kicki Yang Zhang (@kickiyangz). Kicki is a Chinese girl based in Germany who loves to travel and is addicted to the internet. Since my sister told me about her, I check out her Instagram on the daily and save almost every single post of hers for inspiration later. She is also a young model and has a unique fashion look by often going for the 'little boy' look - wearing striped and graphic tees. Her style is sporty with a retro twist. Something I feel that really makes me connect with her looks is that she rather adores the colour red! I also adore how you never see Kicki in a boring pair of jeans, instead she wears alternatives like patterned and garishly coloured trousers and skirts, as you can see in the photos below.

Another Insta gal I have been obsessing over (rather unhealthily) is Alyssa Coscarelli (@alyssainthecity). Alyssa is a fashion market writer at Refinery29 and so-called “Instagrammer” on the side. Over the past year, she has been documenting her beautifully curated life in New York, and all her incredible looks, which are getting everyone’s attention. Alyssa’s aesthetic changes pretty much every day, she can go from sporty one day to preppy the next, girly the next day after that and so on. But, overall, I’d say her aesthetic is minimal classic with trendy twists. Her Instagram has no shortage of looks, as she posts at least one photo of her looks, every day without fail. Check her out and you’ll never be without inspiration again. However, you will become rather envious of the glamorous life she leads!

My final babe on Instagram is María Bernad (@maria_bernad). María is a 23-year-old designer, creative director and stylist based in Madrid. Sharing content every day in social media has led María to become an aesthetic reference for millions of people. On Instagram, you can see that her outfits are often inspired by 1980s men's suits, something very different from other Instagram models out there. She describes her style as feminine and masculine at the same time and also a mix contemporary pieces with vintage pieces. María loves vintage clothes and often what you see her wearing cannot be found anywhere else - this gives her individuality, which I love about her.

My favourite thing about all these amazing girls is that they aren't afraid to wear what they want, no matter what anyone else thinks. I aspire to have their confidence and to go all out there in the fashion world.

Thanks for popping over and do come and say hey on my Twitter and Instagram.
